What is Orientation Week?
Orientation week is the greatest week of university life; filled with social and academic events that enhance the transition into your new home at York University! Bethune College facilitates this week for first-year science students and/or students living in Bethune Residence and employs specially trained upper-year students called Orientation Leaders who are geared to ensure you are supported to the best of our ability and to make sure you meet other students in an inclusive atmosphere.

NOTE: It is one ticket per person. Please review the information below and ask any questions before buying, as there are NO REFUNDS and tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE – NO EXCEPTIONS.

If Orientation Week tickets are out of your price range, you can apply to get a subsidy! Fill out the form to apply for a reduced ticket price.
RISK WAIVER
In order to attend this event, you must fully sign and submit the Risk Waiver. The
Risk Waiver takes no longer than 5 minutes.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
For commuter students who would like to sleep on campus during orientation week, we have rooms available for you! Each day that you would like a room, please go to rooms BC 215, BC 322, or BC 323 to sign up and reserve a spot. You are responsible for bringing your own sleeping essentials. PLEASE NOTE: ROOMS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF RESERVING YOUR ROOM FOR EACH DAY YOU WANT TO STAY ON CAMPUS
